We have a range of rooms for hire to community groups and businesses spread across our two buildings.
The Volunteer Centre
Provides two rooms to accommodate your needs. Numerous organisations have used our facilities for social events, group/business meetings, lunch clubs and hobby sessions over the years. The Centre has a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The rooms seat 16-30 people, one has kitchen facilities, and both have access to our wonderful garden and outside seating area.
We also have two smaller rooms for up to six people for those smaller meetings or counselling sessions.
Is a modern, purpose-built environment, perfect for all your conferences, events, larger meetings and training requirements.
Conference Room - situated on the ground floor with a small kitchen adjoined. Very versatile enviroment to hold a wide variety of functions and activities including corporate and community events, meetings, training sessions and even keep fit classes.
This well-equiped room provides Wi-Fi, hearing loop, PA system, drop-down screen and projector (small charge) and will accommodate 50 people seated boardroom style or 80 theatre style.
IT Suite - situated on the first floor with lift access, this room is equipped with five computers and a colour printer and will accommodate five students and a trainer.
Loan of Equipment
A variety of equipment is available to community groups and charities at a small charge. These include display boards, digital projectors, folding tables, spiro binder, flipcharts and a DVD player.
VAR can provide a wide variety of office services to community groups and charities at very competitive prices.
These include secretarial support in typing up meeting notes and documents, fax, photocopying, laminating, design and printing. We can order stationery and other items for you directly from wholesalers to help you cut costs.
We can design and print your business cards, invitations, programmes, leaflets and posters in black and white or full colour. Contact our Reception office for examples of previous work and details of prices.
We offer very competitive photocopying and laminating services in A5, A4 and A3 sizes. Leave us your parish magazine or the minutes of your meeting to be photocopied and collected at your convenience.
